NEEDLE OF MY HEART combines the opposing artistic styles found in Renaissance and Rococo art.

While both are rich in their fabric choices and colors, Renaissance art takes pride in its Catholic ideals of purity and humble livings, whereas Rococo art thrives in being as flamboyant, extravagant, and expensive as possible.

These styles are personified and engage in a love affair of decadence, admiration, and anger.

This piece serves as an installation where the video is projected on all 4 walls of a room to completely emerge the audience in its visuals.
